Industrial vacuum press bag

The industrial vacuum press bag (VB series) is a seamless, transparent polyurethane bag, 0.5 mm thick and 1600 mm wide, available in five sizes with a useful press area from 1300 × 1600 mm to 3700 × 1600 mm. It is used for veneering, laminating and bending wood and plywood, including curved laminations on a mold and large panels. The part and its mold go in through one of the two open ends, which are closed with the flexible C-channel seals supplied; a vacuum pump connected to the two suction points then draws out the air, and atmospheric pressure presses the bag evenly onto the part while the glue cures. The PU stretches up to 450% and withstands up to 100 °C. Complete systems with vacuum pump, bag and connection hose are also available.
